Sue LaPeter joins Prudential California Realty

“Rising Star” Juggles Career, Family, Community

ORANGE , Calif. (March 23,, 2006): Prudential California Realty, a Southern California-based real-estate agency, is pleased to welcome Sue LaPeter, an agent at the newly acquired Orange office.

LaPeter has spent five years in escrow, five years in title and two years in sales. Since beginning her sales career, LaPeter has received a number of sales awards, including Rookie of the Year (2004) and Top Recruiting Agent (2005). Most recently, she received the “Rising Star” award, which honors LaPeter for her hard work in increasing her business. When asked about her up-and-coming status, LaPeter attributed her success to the coaching program that keeps her focused.

“Every morning, I get up at 4:30 for a conference call with my coach,” says LaPeter. “I'm held accountable for daily, weekly and long-term goals, which means I have to remain focused, organized and motivated. I've been able to increase my business tremendously.”

In addition to building her own career, LaPeter mentors new associates, advising them on prospecting, organization, goals and customer service. LaPeter is also working toward the prestigious Fine Homes designation, which will enable her to work with the top 10% of properties in her area.

A single mother of two children, Courtney (16 years) and TJ (13 years), LaPeter's life is focused on family, real estate and the gym, in that order; yet she also finds time for regular volunteering: she works with high-risk children and victims of domestic violence through the Assistance League of Orange County ( www.alorange.org ), helps teenaged girls through the Orangewood Children's Foundation ( www.orangewoodfoundation.org ) and staffs thrift stores.
