Celebrate St. Patrick's Day With These North Orange County Shenanigans

Saturday March 17 10am-3:30pm

Come out to the Orange County Marketplace (home of the OC Fair and the swap meet) to celebrate St. Paddy’s day. Green beer and lemonade will be flowing, as well as free Irish mint ice cream for those with a coupon. Entertainment includes Irish dancers, an electric cellist, and a magic and comedy show from Abbit the Average Leprechaun. There will also be free face painting and a giant leprechaun roaming around saying hello to the kids.

St. Patrick’s Day at Pretend City

Saturday March 17 

Admission to Pretend City Children’s Museum on Saturday gets you a ticket to their all day St. Patrick’s day celebration. There is an Irish story time that includes a gold coin hunt. Parents and kids will learn how to identify colors while making a yummy snack. Cultural arts and crafts and games that get the whole family moving will also be done throughout the day. Check the Pretend City website for specific times and activities.

“Good to Go from Head to Toe” Health and Wellness Fair

Saturday March 17 9am-2pm

Pretend City’s 3rd annual health and wellness fair is free to the public (but does not include museum admission). There are a variety of activities for kids to participate in, as well as dental, speech, hearing and other health screenings. Parents can get information from health care professionals on how to best take care of their children’s health and how to teach kids healthy habits.

Leprechauns, four leaf clovers, and the “wearing of the green” all make the afternoon sparkle with culture and tradition. Don’t forget to wear green! Recommended for children ages 2-8 with their families.

Boys and Girls Club St. Patrick’s Day Party

Yorba Linda Community Center

Friday March 16, 6:30-Midnight

Celebrate the luck of the Irish while supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Brea, Placentia and Yorba Linda. This event is for 21+. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door, and include dinner, live music by the Irish band The Fenians and pub style games.
